In Sharon Begley’s article Enough is Enough she mentions that Diener says”The Scots were all in favor of such things, but not because they make people happier.”They said too much happiness might not be such a good thing,” “They like being dour, and didn’t appreciate being told they be happier.”More specifically,Eric Wilson argues for balance is important. In this article there are many authors and there view points. I listed Diener and They and the main author.each author has their own different argument about Happiness. An example “…not only can we all be happier, but we have a duty to be so. What was once considered normal sadness is something to be smothered, even shunned.”
According to my opinion working with people everyday I find that people are never happy with money.people they ether do not have enough or they want more.I believe that we need balance to make life more happy. Also I would say when you are working you get happy. Happiness is different for every individual. It cannot be generalized. What may be happiness for one person, may not be for another. There are many different levels involved in getting to happiness. I am happy when I am with my close friends and family. They are my happiness in life.

According to author Cass R. Sunstein, in his article titled What You Can Learn from the New Science of Smarter Spending, he points out 3 ways to happiness is (1.) “if your goal is to use the windfall to promote your own happiness do it, (2.) experiences can have a much bigger impact on people’s happiness then things, and (3.) a big part of happiness lies in looking forward to the experience that you are going to have. ” More specifically, Sunstein argues two points: (1.) that the things we do, ”we do it to feel happy” and (2.) we do it because “we were happy at that time.” Also Sunstein’s points out that spending money on a good time is very important for happiness. “It is best for people to use money to create special times and spaces for desirable activities.”
In my opinion, money does makes you happy. It’s also important how a person uses money to be happy. I like the comment, “Don’t we all know that anticipating a wonderful experience can be as good as the experience itself, and maybe even better.” Taking a vacation by yourself, with friends and family makes you happier and has a real impact on a person’s subjective experience. It will have a life long impact. In your mind you will keep coming back to it. With renovating a home or buying a new car, the experience and happiness is temporary. I agree that money is not everything. “The more we are exposed to something, the more its diminishes.”

According to Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi view about happiness “What makes a life worth living?” Noting that money cannot make us happy, he looks to those who find pleasure and lasting satisfaction in activities that bring about a state of “flow.”Experiences usually involved a fine balance between once ability to act and the available opportunities for action. Aouther Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi words they discovered that people find genuine satisfaction during a state of consciousness called Flow.It must be prepared for and cultivated by each person, by setting challenges that are neither too demanding nor too simple for ones abilities.so basically,if i flow with something then my skills are fully involved in overcoming a challenge that is just about manageable.
I say about through out this artical that the full involvement of flow, rather than happiness, that makes for excellence in life. We can be happy experiencing the passive pleasure of the contentment of a serene relationship, but this kind of happiness is dependent on favorable external circumstances.I would like to say, The happiness that follows flow is of our own making, and it leads to increasing complexity and growth in consciousness.in everyday life,it is rate for the different contents of experience to be synchronous with each other. In other way,in comparison to work, people often lack a clear purpose when spending time at home with the family or alone.and the next step is to match ones skills with whatever challenges have been identified.when approached without too many culture prejudices.Even the most mundane job can produce flow.

According to author view, the title of this artical is ”A full life and balanced of psychology.”In this artical Martin E. P.seligman is the main lid roll author. From his point of view in this passage he talking about ”A review of the literature led us to identify three type of happiness. The general argument made by author Martin E. P.seligman,Acasia C.Parks and Tracy Steen, from this three author work,To be happy we need to balanced and integrated,is that less happiness causes mental illness, stress and suffering from many way of life.In specifically they argues about that psychologist and psychiatrists can help that people less unhappy.and some point they talking about suggesting that the psychology help to the people focus on what is right and what is wrong. In other words i believe its saying your either to be happy from being pleased or having a emotion that is not down and negative.in the present is most important that how studies make you more happy.
According to my point of view, through out this artical that happiness occurs with everyone in any way that they be positive accept happiness.for my sides that happiness is always think positives, they way the things get positives to make your life to be more happy.Happiness is a natural feeling that should come naturally and when you experience that, then a feeling of joy overcomes that person by heart.we all want to be happy.that’s obvious but how much would people pay for a moment of happiness?I would like to say, your happiness is determined by how you allocate your attention.what you attend to drives you behavior and it determines your happiness.you will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of and in your life you will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life.

According to Dalai Lama’s ski trip in mexico, they said during his ski trip visiting a ski mountain. It was happened, waitress asked him ”what is the meaning of the life?”The answered immediately.”The meaning of life is happiness.”and raised his finger, leaning forward, focusing on as it she were the only person in the world. In this artical most important things is what make happiness. The Dalai Lama’s spoke enthusiastically about the view, the mountains, the snow and desert. After a while he lapsed into silence and then in a voice tinged with sadness,he said ”this look like a Tibet.”He paused ”compassion and good heart? This question all human being must try to answer,What make true happiness?they said this the last question a peculiar emphasis and then fell silent, gazing at her with a smile. The skier, who had no idea that the 14th incarnation of the Bodhisattva of compassion was crying out to save his life made a crisp little check as be approached pylon, altering his line of descent and continued expertly down the hill.they said suffering is one of the toughest challenges that humans experience in their journey of life.As the Dalai Lama states,”we are unable to accept that we have problem,we unconsciously project it onto others and plume then for our suffering.”
I say about this artical, throughout history, storytelling has been an essential pices of the culture in which our society lives.I would like to say Dalai Lama’s ski trip have been sources of information, communication an entertainment for many.In this artical,”the Dalai Lama’s ski trip :what i learned in the slush with his holiness,”written by Douglas Preston. This is an entertaining get informative take about how Preston helped welcome a famous ans controversial figure visiting the every part of the world.he discusses the opinion this influential figure has on one of life’s toughest question.the information is accurate and not biased, and the author keeps the audience entertained and interested. as i say, he treated patients here with herbs, but needed and experienced acupuncturist. It certainty was an interesting place to work but i understand that his kind of natural talent. he several picture of him and his holiness.as they call him, many of them with his arms around my friends shoulders, a big grin on his face.

According to mark kingwell about in pursuit of Happiness that ” the trouble with most people is not that day are unhappy” philosophy professor Mark Kingwell write a third of the way into in pursuit of happiness, his forth book “it is that they do not know how to think clearly about what happiness might be. In this artical i will describe that experience makes him more happy, except in so far as they provide grist for his wondering but intellectually challenging discussion of the source and nature of real happiness. and he describes in postscript the simple happiness Fred Astaire movies` bring him. Infect he makes it abundantly clear that experiencing happiness has vary little to do with dissecting it.
They say,In many ways that i view philosophy as a way to get our heads something we can not get understand.Scientifically i believe happiness is something we can getting a grasp of scientifically.
Regarding to me,I say about the nature of happiness and idea of ”better living.”Ultimately,he defends an Aristotelian view of happiness as leading a virtuous life, but on the way he gives plenty of analysis of modern trends in popular culture,he also write about his own life.a nice feature of the book is Kingwell’s ability to mix together popular culture, academic philosophy and literary studies from magazine such as the New Yorker. According to this article i would like to say,it’s a great asset to be able to do it well.He also relates it to the traditions of the stoics and Lao and Buddha. While he was going through the seminar, and one gets a scene of what the experience means to him personally. He discuses the long tradition of equating happiness with pleasure, and shows the problems with such a view.He examines the question whether western culture is devoted to providing people with pleasure, and concludes that hedonism and puritanism are in fact closely linked together, and that we are”a culture suffering from bipolar disorder.”In the end, I think the part of this book are greater then whole.Kingwell argues for a plausible view of happiness, but there’s nothing particularly original about his conclusion. But the individual discussions that he gives along the way are worth taking seriously, even if they occasionally smack of academic dinner party conversation. This book will appeal to a wide range of readers, and deserves to get public attention.

They Said “Happiness depends on ourselves.” More than anybody else, Aristotle enshrines happiness as a central purpose of human life and a goal in itself. As a result he devotes more space to the topic of happiness than any thinker prior to the modern era. Living during the same period as Mencius, but on the other side of the world, he draws some similar conclusions. That is, happiness depends on the cultivation of virtue, though his virtues are somewhat more individualistic than the essentially social virtues of the Confucians. Yet as we shall see, Aristotle was convinced that a genuinely happy life required the fulfillment of a broad range of conditions, including physical as well as mental well-being. In this way he introduced the idea of a science of happiness in the classical sense, in terms of a new field of knowledge.
I Said
Happiness is not depend on other than yourself, whenever think about the matter effective to all concerned to your self, I also believe the conditions and situations are affect you happiness are completely surrounding you. Sometime its time being conditions and sometime its comparatively valued. Not a permanent and fixed value for all. As Buddha the Middle Path referred to a peaceful way of life which negotiated the extremes of harsh asceticism and sensual pleasure seeking. so finally life is with limitation of thinking hence it true if we can say “function of man is to live a certain kind of life”

They said ” Pig happiness are with different consequences and many ways to be happy. article successful in poising scenarios for the reader to consider, Happiness of pig and the ways of such as the mentally handicapped, the fool, the successful immorality and the impossible idealist. Her method of provoking the reader to think for themselves in order to find their definition of happiness a definition of happiness, but instead presents a series of scenarios to challenge the readers idea of happiness.
I said : Lynne Mcfall told that i understand the way I can describe in one example.
Children are one example of people that could be considered pig-happy. I remember when I was little one thing that could always make me happy was a brand new pack of Pokémon cards to add to my two inch thick collection. My friends and me always used to trade each other and have “Pokémon wars”. Looking back at it now I do not have any interest in Pokémon cards or in collecting them, and frankly now I think it is stupid. This is a prime example of me as a kid being extremely happy doing something, but now I do not see how someone could be happy doing that same thing that used to make me happy. This example answers McFall’s question in that even if people think there’s no way someone could be happy doing what they are doing, that person could be completely satisfied and happy with their life.

perhaps with the same article, number of various organisation are still with different view on the city ID.and other way they say, identification card program allow undocumented to vote that away with a false seance of security about the cards.
ISAY
Agree with this point In my opinion, City ID helps community to using on the land of Chicago. Also provides accountability for the service provider and may be the future revenue generation tool for the govt.
Disagree in this article i would like to say, Alien withe the voter rights are very early step for the community. However it should be reconsider with legal expertise.
50/50 On the subject of Facility and amenities I voted in favour of City ID. The same time on Voter ID Registration need more specific regulation for the rights.
